Is it possible to make notifications appear like on iPhone on Samsung Galaxy 9.10? That is, when the notification came, the screen turned up, and showed a notification from whom and where?
I can’t say for sure about 9 and 10 models. Look in the notification settings. All available functions are displayed there.
Hello. I have all these settings. And there have been no notifications for over a month. They go only from WhatsApp. In general, I cannot understand what is the reason. Do you know? Thank you
Good evening. No notifications from social networks, mailboxes, etc.
Notifications are enabled in the social network settings, watched?
Yes. All inclusive. And it never did. Now I double-checked it.
This means that in the phone settings you need to open the notification settings. Click on the name of the social network, the settings will open. There you need to see if everything is included. At the top right there is an Advanced tab, look more in advanced settings.
Hello. I wrote earlier that I have everything included, but notifications never come, except for WhatsApp.
Hello. You do not specify your email, so you do not receive answers. In which applications? If everything is turned on in the phone, then in the application settings you need to look.
Everything from you came to me. Thank you. I just could answer. Everything is included in the application settings, in the phone. Notifications come only from WhatsApp. The rest of the applications seem to be asleep
Good day! Can you tell me if you can set up an alert about a SIM card change? ?
Good day.Samsung Galaxy A30 32GB, how to enable LED notification for missed messages, WhatsApp messages, etc.?
Good day. Settings. Notifications, see there. What does LED notification mean??
Tell me why, when bluetooth or NFC and other functions are on, the icons are not displayed on the top panel of the phone? Samsung A30 phone
NFC and Bluetooth are also not displayed, although the systems themselves are working
Try restarting your smartphone. You can still clean up and optimize. When a smartphone is full of memory, it starts to blunt.
The icon of the enabled bluetooth and enabled NFC, although the systems themselves are operational, they are not displayed at the top of the screen
I rebooted more than once, but the phone is new and there is still a lot of free memory, what to do?
Where exactly are these icons missing? In a window that opens when you swipe down from the top of the screen? Or just at the top of the screen, where the charge is displayed, etc.?
I took my wife a Galaxy A50 smartphone, some problems There are no notifications about messages in Viber, but some kind of sound notifications sound periodically for all closed notifications in the settings. I am very sorry that I took this smartphone
Do not rush to conclusions, first you need to figure it out. You write that you have disabled all notifications in the settings. Then how will you receive notifications from vibe if you turned them off yourself? What specific sound notifications? On the display they show what is written there?
I have three problems with this smartphone: 1. There is no notification sound for incoming messages from Viber (this is the first problem). 2. Periodically sound notifications sound. To determine which ones, I turned off notifications from all applications in the settings. The notifications still go periodically. 3. The NFC module does not work with the Sberbank “Mir” card.
Open Viber. At the bottom right, click Then click the Settings. Notifications. Notification sound tab. The Show notifications setting must be enabled. In the Alert style parameter, the following should be selected: Sound and notifications. A melody must be selected in the Sound parameter. Check it out. 2. What kind of notifications sound? Is there something on the screen? Or, there should be notification icons at the top of the screen. You need to pull the screen down and see what is written there. 3. Check if VISA and MasterCard will work, then the problem is not in the NFC module. It means that the Google Pay or Samsung Pay application (I do not know which one you are using) does not support the MIR card. Most likely it is.
Sound notifications are not clear from where. this is the “security” application in the phone, notifies that everything is fine, the icon on top of this application lights up literally for a few seconds. At first I myself did not understand what it was.
Ilya, please help me solve these problems.
The earliest available version of Android is extremely rare today. Nevertheless, we will consider the options for disconnecting and on it.
- Highlight a notification with a long press on it.
- The screen will display the message “Application Information”.
- In the list of options that opens, select “Show notifications”.
- Save changes.
As in the previous version, if the checkpoint is inactive, you will not be able to turn off notifications in this program.
If your phone supports the old Android platform, the shutdown mechanism will be slightly different from the previous options.
- Hold your finger on the notification that appears for a few seconds.
- In the context menu that appears, tap on the “i”.
- Remove the checkpoint from the item “Show notifications”.
- If the checkbox is inactive, you will not be able to uncheck it, and you will not be able to disable signals from this utility.
- If you can disable it, click “Yes”.
- Save changes.
The mechanism for deactivating messages on version 8 is not much different from version 9.
- Hold the popup for a while.
- Revoke permission to notifications.
- Click the “Save” button.
You can also open the device settings, find the required application in the list of installed on the smartphone, and prohibit the display of messages by moving the lever to the inactive state.
How to turn off notifications on Samsung lock screen
Depending on the operating system, the mechanism for configuring alarms and turning them off may differ. Consider instructions for different versions of Android.
On the two previous versions, messages can also be disabled pointwise and in bulk. For the first option:
- Press and hold the message that appears with your finger for a few seconds
- Deactivate the item “Allow notifications”.
Save your changes. If the shutdown does not occur, it means that this operation is not possible for this application.
To immediately select all applications from which you do not want to receive signals, use another method. Open your smartphone settings and go to the “Notifications” section.
You will see a list of programs opposite which there are checkpoints or switches.
Uncheck or slide the switches to the inactive state in front of those programs that you want to disable. If you want to disable everything. select the appropriate option at the very top.
Here you can also connect the “Indicators on icons” option, which allows you to show the number of messages or actions in the icons of certain programs, for example, messengers.
How to turn off app notifications on a Samsung phone
In the Android operating system, the notification option is activated by default. For SMS and messages from various applications, a pop-up window appears on the screen, accompanied by a sound signal. Not always notifications can be useful, sometimes they can just annoy with their number and intrusiveness. Today we will discuss how to turn off notifications on a Samsung phone.
How to turn off silent notifications on Samsung
Information about the message can appear on a locked phone, while immediately with a description of the content. In this case, you can turn off notifications completely, or simply display the content inside them. This will protect your data from being read by third parties, but at the same time you can always find out that you have received a new letter or SMS.
To configure this mode, open the smartphone settings, go to the “Lock screen” and select “Notifications”.
In the list of options, find the line “Hide content” and activate the switch next to it. If you want to hide the name of the application and leave only the icon, select “Only notification icons”.
If you need to disable pop-up push notifications completely, remove the switch next to the “Enabled” item. Also, notifications can be removed in the “Lock Screen” settings section in the “Notifications” item.
In the latest generation of Android OS, the notification setting system has become more flexible. You can turn off signals either completely or separately for each program, including the system one.
To disable, repeat the following steps:
- When the next message appears, swipe down on the desktop. Hold the message box for a few seconds.
- A lever will appear in the message field with permission for notification. Make it inactive.
- Save changes.
Done! Now notifications from this service will be disabled.
If you need to remove notifications before they appear, go to the smartphone settings, select “Applications”. In the list of programs, find the required one, scroll down the card to the parameters. In the “Notifications” section, click “Deny” and save the settings.
How to make pop-up notifications on Samsung
Despite the convenience of using notifications, in some cases they can be not only annoyingly useless but also dangerous. For example, some applications (in particular games and all kinds of social networks) do not hesitate to display notifications one after the other when new “interesting” videos appear or when it’s time to play, feed a virtual pet, learn a few new words, and so on. How to remove notifications on Samsung from those applications that are as annoying as possible and the information received in this way does not carry much value?
Open the smartphone settings and go to the “Notifications” section, where in the window that opens, remove the “checkmarks” (deactivate the switches) next to the names of those applications that you would not like to receive notifications.
In the event that it is necessary to turn off all notifications, we change the position of the switch next to the item “All applications”.
Here you can also disable or activate the switch next to the item “Indicators on icons”, which in the active state displays the number of new notifications in a particular application. Information is displayed next to the icons on the desktop of the mobile device. So, for example, the “Gmail” application will display the number of unread messages, “Phone”. missed calls, and the number of new SMS will be marked on the icon of the “Messages” application.
How to turn off notifications on Samsung lock screen?
As for the lock screen, everything is a little different here. Disabled, as a rule, or completely the notification, or its content. Thus, if someone outside takes your locked phone, the maximum that he will know is about the arrival of a new letter, a message in a messenger or a social network, but he will not be able to read its contents.
To activate this mode, open the smartphone settings, go to the “Lock screen” section and click on the “Notifications” item (exactly on the name of the item, and not on the switch next to it).
Next, activate the switch next to the item “Hide content” (this will just hide the content of the notification, but it will display the application that created it) and, if desired, next to the item “Only notification icons” (in this case, instead of the name of the application, its icon will be displayed ).
In the event that the display of notifications on the Samsung lock screen is not needed at all. deactivate the switch next to the “Enabled” item or simply disable it even earlier. in the “Lock Screen” section on the “Notifications” item.
WhatsApp settings. What should be configured first?
The program provides its users with a sea of all kinds of settings. You can create the perfect app for yourself in just five to ten minutes. All WhatsApp settings are carried out directly in the smartphone, so you can make adjustments while lying on the couch 🙂
- Change message sound, choose melody.
- Customize popup.
- Choose the color of the indicator (if there is one on your smartphone).
- Enable / disable vibration.
Well, is it difficult to customize the program? Probably, even if a primitive man had WhatsApp, he would hardly have spent more than an hour setting it up. But for us, modern people, five minutes is enough 😉
First you need to put an avatar photo. In this case, the image can be anything: even a photo of the American president can be put (although better, of course, the Russian one). Go to the settings, select “Profile”, click on the pencil in the center of the screen and insert any photo. Here you can change your name (or rather, your nickname).
This item allows, for example, to configure the sending of a message. Some users prefer to do this by pressing only Enter. You can also choose a convenient font, chat wallpaper and clear messages.
Galaxy S20/S20: How to Enable/Disable Text Notification Pop-up
Just below the “Profile” is the item “Account”. How to set up WhatsApp:
- Block unnecessary users (item “Privacy”). Decide who will see your last visit, photo and status. Almost presidential settings.
- Change number and even delete account.

If you do not receive notifications on Samsung from the mobile client, check its settings.
Open the app and go to settings, open the “Notifications” item.
Here you can configure the display of all types of signals: for incoming personal and group messages, likes, reposts, new friends, wall posts, etc.
Save the parameters and restart the utility.
WhatsApp notifications not coming
Check if there is a limitation on the messenger. For this:
- Open your phone settings and find the Applications section;
- Find WhatsApp in the list, expand the Data usage item in the program card;
- Check if the line “Limit background data” is active. If it is enabled, disable it.
Save the parameters and test the messenger’s work by asking someone to send a message.
Reasons and what to do if notifications are not received on Android Samsung phone
If you notice that pop-up messages from various programs have stopped appearing on the screen, the reasons may be as follows:
- Lack of Internet connection. until the connection to the network is restored, instant messengers and programs operating over the Internet will not be able to fully function and be regularly updated, so messages will not be displayed.
- Date and time are incorrectly set on the smartphone. By default, these parameters are set automatically when the phone is connected to the network. However, if there was no connection for a long time, and there was a change in the time zone (for example, during a flight), the date may get lost. This will negatively affect the performance of applications.
- The function “Limit background data” is active. This option blocks pop-ups and notifications on your phone to save battery power.
- Manual shutdown in the settings of the phone or the application itself.
Check each of these parameters and fix, in most cases this is enough to fix the situation.
Samsung notifications don’t come. what to do?
Every day we receive dozens or even hundreds of notifications from various applications and messengers. At times, a well-timed message can be critical to a relationship or career. But what if Samsung is not receiving notifications? Let’s figure out the reasons for this phenomenon and how to fix it.
How to fix the problem
Let’s consider methods of correcting the most obvious causes of this problem.
- Setting the current time and date.
You will need to go to the device settings, open the “Date and time” section, enable the auto-detect time option, or set it up manually.
Save the parameters and restart the device.
- Activating the “Show Content” feature.
To activate this option, you need the “Lock screen and protection” section in the specifications. In the line “Display on screen” find the section “Lock screen”. Expand the parameter and check the box next to the entry “Show content”;
In the “Notifications” section, look at the list of applications and find the one with which you are having problems. Move the switch opposite its name to the active position and save.
- Disable the “Background data limits” option.
If this option is active, some applications may not work without a Wi-Fi connection, even if there is a mobile Internet. You can change the situation in the “Data usage” section of the phone settings. Open this tab, find the “Options” section, if it is active, expand it and uncheck the option “Disable background data limitation”.
- Disable power saving mode. Activating it can block pop-ups to save battery.
- Disable or uninstall programs that can block pop-up alerts. These include antivirus and antispam utilities.
Samsung notifications come with no sound
If you notice that messages are displayed, but no sound signal, the reason may be in the sound mode settings. For example, in Do Not Disturb mode, some audible alarms may be muted. Also check the settings of the utilities themselves, following the example of or Vatsap.
View available notifications in Windows Action Center
First of all, you need to note that “Windows 10” still displays pop-up notifications in the lower right corner of your desktop (just above the notification area on the “Taskbar”) when the application needs to tell you something about any action or state operating system.
If you do not close the notification yourself by clicking on the white cross (X) in the upper right corner of the pop-up notification, it will automatically disappear after six seconds. Whenever you have new notifications, the Windows Action Center icon in the notification area of the taskbar turns white and displays the number of new notifications (shown below right). If there are no new notifications, then this icon looks empty and without a numerical designation (in the picture below on the left).
Click on the icon shown in the figures above (regardless of what state it is in) to open Windows Action Center. A pop-up panel will emerge from the right edge of your display, showing all your recent notifications, grouped by individual app.
When you click on any notification in the Windows Notification Center, a certain action takes place, depending on the specific application that presented the specified notification to you. Most of the time, clicking on a notification triggers some important message regarding the actions of the application. For example, clicking on the Virus & Threat Protection notification marked in the figure above will open the Threat Log section in the Windows Defender Security Center window and display the results of a full scan of your antivirus program. Or clicking on the “ESET Smart Security Premium” notification will launch the application and present specific ways to improve the security of your computer.
Sometimes the results of actions when you click on a specific notification are explained directly in the notification itself. For example, if there are available updates of the operating system or individual applications and programs, this will be directly stated in the notification, when you click on which, the corresponding updates will be launched and installed.
Clear notifications in Windows Action Center
This procedure is pretty straightforward. Hover your mouse over any specific notification in the notification and action bar and you will see a Clear button (white X) in the upper right corner. Click on it to completely remove this notification from the panel. Please note that after deleting the selected notification, it will be impossible to restore it.
You can also delete the entire notification block for the selected application (in our example, for the Windows Defender Security Center application) by hovering over the application name and clicking the Clear button that appears there.
Finally, you can clear all available notifications by clicking on the Clear All Notifications text link in the lower right corner of Windows Action Center (just above the Quick Action buttons).
Windows 10 Action Center: How to set up and use?
Read how to use Windows Notification Center. How to view available notifications, clear them, disable them, or customize the display. Windows 10’s Action Center is finally fully centralizing toast notifications and reminders that require immediate attention and action from the user to address them directly. In this guide, we will show you how to set up and use the Windows 10 Action Center service.
Microsoft Corporation, developing and implementing the Windows 10 operating system, is trying to expand the capabilities of modern computer devices through an advanced control system. At the same time, manufacturers of components for personal computers, using the latest developments, significantly increase the productivity and speed of end devices. Thus, the latest operating system, designed to manage modern computers, helps the user to quickly solve emerging problems, while it can be customized for the specific wishes of the user independently by each of them.
You can’t set many of the settings that specify how notifications are displayed in Windows Action Center, but there are a number of ways to customize the notifications themselves. First you need to open the Settings app. This can be done in different ways, we will show you a few of the most common ones:
Method 1: Open the main Windows user menu by clicking the “Start” button located on the “Taskbar” in the lower left corner of the desktop. Click on the gear icon in the left menu bar. Or using the scroll bar, move the slider down and in the list of installed available applications and programs, select the “Settings” section.
Method 2: Press the keyboard shortcut together “Windows X” or right-click on the “Start” button on the “Taskbar”, and in the pop-up menu that opens, select the “Options” section.
Method 3: Click the notification area icon on the “Taskbar” in the lower right corner of the desktop, then in the pop-up panel that opens, click the “All options” quick action button.
Method 4: Press the “Windows I” key combination together and call the “Settings” application immediately directly.
In the list of available pages of the “Settings” application, select the “System” page (marked in the picture above). On the System settings page in the left pane of the window, go to the Notifications and Actions tab.
In the right pane of the window, using the scroll bar, move the slider down and select the “Notifications” section.
The following are the main types of notification settings:
- Show notifications on lock screen. disable this option if you want to prevent any notifications from appearing when using the computer lock mode. Just flip the switch opposite the corresponding cell to the “Off” position.
- Show Reminders and Incoming VoIP Calls on Lock Screen. Turning off notifications on the lock screen allows you to display reminders and incoming calls. Flip the switch to the “Off” position. and disable this setting to prevent these kinds of notifications from appearing on the lock screen.
- “Show Windows Welcome screen after updates and sometimes at sign-in to inform about new features and offers” and “Get tips, hints and tips when using Windows”. disable these two options if you are not interested in tips, suggestions, new features or announcements.
- Receive notifications from applications and other senders. this option allows you to completely disable notifications. To do this, in the appropriate cell, set the switch value to the “Off” position. and the changes made will be instantly applied to the notification settings.
- Hide notifications when my screen is duplicated. This option can be turned off if you are duplicating your screen (for example, while giving a presentation) and want to restrict notifications from appearing while showing. Disable this setting by setting the switch value to the “Off” position. in this cell.
If you slide the scroll bar down a little further in the right pane, you will see the settings in the “Receive notifications from these senders” section (“senders” is how the Windows operating system calls applications and other sources of notifications).
Move the toggle next to any listed app to Off to completely disable notifications for that app.
Click on any application name to open another page that allows you to customize the settings for that application in more detail. Consider, for example, the settings for the Skype application.
On the app settings page, you can turn off notifications for the app, choose whether to show banners or play sounds, block notifications from being added to the Windows Action Center, and even control the number of notifications that the app can show in the aforementioned center.
At the bottom of the page, you’ll find the Skype app notification prioritization controls in Windows Notification Center, which allow you to control (at least to some extent) the order in which app notifications appear in the Center list.
You can apply one of the three available priority settings to an application. By default, the Application Priority setting is set to Normal and appears below the high priority notifications in the Windows Action Center. Priority High allows notifications to be placed above all notifications with normal priority. Highest priority means the notification will appear at the top of Windows Action Center. However, you can assign the “Highest” priority to only one application, initially by default the application with this priority is “Cortana”.
Windows Action Center
In the Windows 10 operating system, the ability to personalize the operating system for specific user requirements and services for interaction and control of a personal computer are raised to a new qualitative level. The user can personalize the custom folder configuration, apply a variety of desktop background themes, change the styles of the graphical and sound interface, apply a variety of pre-installed operating system accessibility features, etc. Windows Action Center application deserves special attention.
The capabilities of this application are most fully represented in the version of the operating system “Windows 10”. For a long time, Windows notifications were something of a joke, or an app that was not viewed as a serious feedback tool by users. Even the Windows 8 operating system, which finally introduced toast notifications, had a number of shortcomings. The notifications first appeared on the desktop and then disappeared, and there was no way to view the missing notifications that you might have missed. Windows 10 fixes this oversight with the Windows Action Center app located in the slide’s pop-up sidebar. All notifications are grouped and displayed in the Windows Notification Center, as well as direct access to quick action buttons such as Tablet Mode, Virtual Network, Focus, All Settings, Night Light, and etc.
Windows Action Center is quite easy to use, and it is also fairly easy to customize to suit any end user’s wishes.
Customize One Touch Buttons
At the bottom of the Windows Action Center bar, you will see four One Touch buttons. By default, the panel contains mainly the following buttons: “Tablet Mode”, “Connect”, “Network” and “All Settings” (for different versions of the Windows 10 operating system assembly, the preset shortcut buttons may differ). Press a button to perform the corresponding action (for example, toggle tablet mode on or off). You can read more about tablet mode in our earlier article: “What does Tablet Mode in Windows 10 mean?”.
However, this is not a complete menu of all connected One Touch Buttons. And if you want to reflect them in the Windows notification center, then click on the text link “Expand”, located just above these buttons.
All One Touch buttons appear in the Windows Action Center bar at the bottom as rows of tiles. You can switch back to the original view of the Quick Action buttons by simply clicking on the “Collapse” text link that appeared in place of the previous link.
In fact, you can customize these quick action buttons to a certain extent. Although you cannot add your own custom Quick Action buttons, you can still choose which buttons appear in the Windows Action Center and in what order.
Message Bubbles. Samsung’s Smart Pop Up View
Open the main window of the “Settings” section using any of the methods we described earlier (for example, press the “Windows I” key combination together to open the “Settings” application directly), and then select the “System” page.
On the System preferences page, in the left pane of the window, click the Notifications & Actions tab. In the right pane of the window, you will see the “Quick Actions” section and all the available buttons that are reflected in the “Windows Notification Center”.
Press and hold any of these buttons and then drag to customize the order in which they appear in Windows Action Center.
If there are buttons that you have not yet displayed in the Notification Center or, on the contrary, you want to hide, then click on the link “Add / remove quick actions”.
Use the toggles on the page that opens to turn specific Quick Action buttons on or off.
And before you close the “Settings” application window, all changes made will be instantly applied to the settings of the “Windows” notification center, and it will take the form that you set it.
As you can see, Windows Action Center is a welcome addition to the Windows operating system. Now, you have a place to view notifications that you may have missed, and there is the ability to quickly access certain system settings simply and easily with one click.
