- Two metal tubes approximately 40 cm long and 16 mm in diameter (on average). In the manufacture of such an antenna, it is imperative to observe the homogeneity of each of the two tubes in terms of material, length, wall thickness and diameter.
- TV cable with the required length plus two meters for connection and sagging.
- Piece of PCB or getinax.
- Fasteners for pipes on a flat base (clamps or metal strips).
- A mast for attaching the antenna structure (can be a pipe, corner or wooden rail).
Let’s move on to assembling the antenna structure. Each of the tubes must be flattened on one side. With these sides, two tubes are placed on a piece of PCB or getinax opposite each other at a distance of 6-7 cm. The area of a piece of material is equal to the required area for reliable fastening of the tubes with clamps. A mast is attached to it.

Up to 10 cm of cable insulation is removed, the braid is twisted and soldered to one end. The central core of the cable remains in plastic insulation. First, disassemble the TV connector into separate pieces by unscrewing the top section from the main body. There will be a female connector inside that will slide over the exposed copper section with cable and clamp to hold the cable in place and prevent it from being pulled out.

Gently press the leaves closed around the outer sleeve to lock it in place and hold it firmly in the nest. This will help prevent the cord from being disconnected, dropped or pulled out by mistake.
Take the plug and press it against the clip. You will see that the plug is pushed inward slightly to obtain the clip. Cut off the inner sleeve where it reaches the end of the plug so that the plug slides slightly over the leaf clip.

In order to avoid this, it is necessary to bend half of the foil back and the conductive part will be on top. Then we release the central core from the insulation, retreating 0.5-1 centimeters, again, we try not to damage the wire itself. Now we wrap the first half of the plug onto the foil. Make sure that the center wire falls into the core of the plug. After that, a part of the central vein is “bite off” with pliers, so that it protrudes from the union nut by 4–6 millimeters. the second part of the plug is screwed on until it stops.
